MEMBERSHIP
Becoming a member means receiving a membership card, members-first for some events, the right to vote at the Annual General Meeting (AGM) and the right to stand for the board or committee.
To answer the most frequent question first: you don't have to become a member to visit our lectures, they are open for everyone. Some special events may be open for members only and sometimes it is necessary to register, especially for outings and for all events taking place at the British Embassy.
The next thing you might say is: But I don't want to commit myself in a long-term membership. No problem: If you become a member of our society the term of the agreement will be for one year only. When receiving the programme for the coming year, just inform the BRIDFAS Membership Secretary whether you wish to renew or cancel your membership without any further obligations.
As already mentioned: guests are welcome to any lecture and most of the other events against payment of a guest fee.
For special events or trips you will be asked to share the extra costs.
